                                                         Do I qualify?
The Marriage Regulations which came into force on 1 October 2008 allow couples opportunity to marry in a church which has special significance for them, even though it is not where they live, provided
·
One of them was baptised or prepared for confirmation in the parish
·
One of them has lived in the parish for 6 months or more
·
One of them has at any time regularly attended public worship
         in the parish for 6 months or more
·
One of their parents has lived in the parish for 6 months or more in their child’s lifetime
·
One of their parents has regularly attended public worship there
         for 6 months+ in their child’s lifetime
·
Their parents or grandparents were married in the parish.

Anyone wishing to enquire about marriage should contact the Vicar as soon as possible

When one or both of the couple have a partner from a previous marriage still living, the parish policy is not to solemnize a wedding service but to offer a service of prayer and thanksgiving.
